My Child’s Weight Isn’t Your Concern

My child’s weight isn’t your concern, your business, or have anything to do with you, so stop acting like it does. We see your stares, hear your whispers, and we’re tired of it. It’s time I speak out against it.

Helping My Kids Grieve

There’s many things in life I haven’t figured out yet and grieving is definitely on the top of that list. I experienced my first significant loss in 2014, I was 25. I cried, I begged to have my grandpa back, it was rough. It’s wasn’t completely unexpected though, so I think that made it slightlyContinue reading “Helping My Kids Grieve”

Tired Mama – Holiday Edition

I don’t know if it’s just me or other people too, but the older my kids get the more I forget holidays or tend to almost blow my cover as Santa, the Easter Bunny, etc. It’s not on purpose, it just happens. All the nights staying up late to wrap presents, stuff stockings or eggs,Continue reading “Tired Mama – Holiday Edition”

My Story – I Was a Teen Mom

It wouldn’t be right for me to ask mothers and woman to share their stories without sharing mine, right? I’ve tried to write my story over and over. I can’t seem to paint the picture of what it was like or share everything everyone wants to know. But that’s what Sassy Mamaroo is about, right?Continue reading “My Story – I Was a Teen Mom”

Do any of ya'll journal? I started journaling recently, and it's helped me so much. I've learned that I'm reactive to things that happen and sometimes take them personally when they aren't. Journaling has helped me work through those feelings and work on myself. This is the year of growth. Do better. Be better.
Any fellow mama's book fans? I just finished this series recently and I highly recommend. It was such a good read. I love reading and have been trying to find time lately in my busy schedule to read at least 20 minutes a day. What's your favorite book? Drop them in the comments so I can add them to my must read list!
