Mama Rants: Just Wear It

Okay I’m about to go on a little rant today. I’m so sick and tired of people telling women what they can and can’t wear. It’s time it stops. Will this really make a difference? Probably not, but here goes.

Stop telling women what they can and can’t wear. Stop making women feel like their body size dictate what is and isn’t appropriate to wear. Stop shaming women for the clothes, swimsuit, whatever they choose to wear. Stop making women feel like they have to abide by certain rules based on their body types.

Instead start telling women they look nice. Tell women you like their outfit or what you like about their outfit. Tell women you love that they have the confidence to wear whatever they want. Make women feel like what they wear is okay and completely acceptable. Make women exude confidence through and through.

Listen ladies, it’s hot out here right now. Wear that crop top. Wear the shorts. Wear the swimsuit. Wear the dress. Wear whatever you want and are comfortable in. The only thing that matters is that you feel good in what you’re wearing. If people don’t like it, then screw them. Your body type and size doesn’t matter. Show off those curves. Show off those muscles. Be confident in your beauty because you are absolutely perfect in every way and you deserve to dress however you want. Always be you. Always be confident. Always wear whatever the hell you want.
