You’re unappreciated. Your efforts go completely unnoticed. You don’t even know why you try anymore. You’re tired. You want to give up. We see you. We are your family. We are the friends beside you. We are the Facebook friends enjoying your posts. We are the stranger beside you in the grocery store. We are all around you. We see you. We appreciate you.
We see you taking your kids to school to school in the morning. We see you pulling into the drive thru with a screaming kid in the back trying to buy a happy meal because it’s been a long day. We see you trying to remember all the stuff on that grocery list you left at home on the counter. We see you abandoning your cart as you pull a screaming kid out of the store. We see you working your butt off to make ends meet. We see you taking your kids to all those appointments. We see you having a breakdown and crying in your car because it’s been a rough day. We see you looking your best. We see you looking your worst. We see you always doing your best. We see you struggling from time to time. We see all the cleaning you did today. We see the love you give your kids. We see how drained you are.
We see you. We appreciate you. We appreciate you taking your kids to school in the morning so they can get smart and learn new things. We appreciate you working your butt off to make ends meet and we know you are absolutely killing it (make that money honey!). We appreciate all the time you made in your schedule for those appointments and making sure your kids are healthy, have good teeth, and can see. We appreciate all the cleaning you did today and what a beautiful house you have. We appreciate you draining every ounce of energy you have to do and be the best you can for your kids.
We see you. We appreciate you. You sweet mama are appreciated more than you’ll ever know. Maybe no one says it like they should, but just look around you. Look at all the work you do. Look at how much of yourself is dedicated to your kids and all their needs. Look at the beautiful clean house you have. Look at everything you accomplished today. You sweet mama are the rockstar of all rockstars. Nothing would work without you. Appreciation comes in many forms. That sweet smile your kid gives from across the room. That hug when you get home from work. The I love you’s said everyday. It might not feel like it now, but you are the most appreciated person alive. Never forget that.
